Why community and connection are so important

Steph Ryan MP

This magazine throws a spotlight on the stories of more than 50 community groups and businesses, and over 110 people in Kilmore.

I’d like to thank each and every person who gave their time to share their stories.

Bezzy Eldo

Carly Eldredge created a jewellery label with her daughter Brielle, to help the 10-year-old learn about work, money and saving. Over the past nine months, the duo has made and sold hundreds of earrings and necklaces.

Brielle, who is affectionately known as Bezzy, is learning business management, as well skills in money handling, customer service and product manufacturing. “It’s been great for her self-esteem,” says Carly. “Her school is not impacted, if anything she is more motivated. Our bond is stronger too.”
