Why community and connection are so important

Steph Ryan MP

This magazine throws a spotlight on the stories of more than 50 community groups and businesses, and over 110 people in Kilmore.

I’d like to thank each and every person who gave their time to share their stories.

Buds and Branches

When you walk in to Buds and Branches, it’s easy to imagine that you’ve wandered into a secret garden.

The studio is meticulously designed; there’s an explosion of colour and fragrance. The air is fresh and the foliage is green and enveloping. It’s also very cold.

Di Templeton, who is the owner says, “it may be freezing, but that’s florist life.” She rubs her hands together, fingerless mittens on. “It’s cold in winter. But so lovely and refreshing in summer.”

With a glorious shop front on Sydney Street, Buds and Branches employs a small team of talented and passionate floral stylists, each with their own take on fresh and contemporary arrangements.

The shop is accessorised with a beautiful selection of homewares and body care products.

Di and her team pride themselves on impeccable attention to detail, backed by service that is friendly and fast. Arrangements for any occasion can be catered for: weddings, major life milestones, events and corporate.
