Mitchell Business Network chair Bruce Nicholls has worked around the world as an international trade commissioner and tech entrepreneur. He’s even published a few books.

But it was from a shed on his farm at Glenaroua that he started his online business, Australian Business Listing Exchange. “I eventually sold that company to realestate.com,” Bruce says. “So it’s proof that businesses can be built from anywhere, with the right infrastructure.”
Bruce, who is active in the local community believes that grass-roots activism, linked with strong advocacy in state and federal government is the key to unlocking Kilmore’s potential.
With collegiate relationships with local and state government, the Mitchell Business Network is passionate about developing a thriving business and investment climate in Mitchell and surrounding areas. Its goal is to make Mitchell the premier place in Victoria to live, work and invest.
“Kilmore and the Mitchell Shire have wonderful lifestyle benefits, which is why people are coming here,” Bruce says. “If we can harness the opportunity and work together, the future will be exciting.”
